Cincinnati's rich history of music continues in the 21st century as the host city for six summer music festivals including LumenoCity, Cincy Blues Fest, Bunbury Music Festival, Cincinnati Jazz Festival, MidPoint Music Festival and the country festival known as Buckle Up. The Buckle UP Music Festival is a 3-day music festival in Cincinnati, OH at Sawyer Point Yeatman's Cove on the banks of the Ohio River. The festival's inaugural event took place July 18–20, 2014. It featured over 80 performances on 6 stages.[1] The festival was founded by MidPoint Music Festival co-founder and former Fountain Square managing director Bill Donabedian.

Headliners for the inaugural year includes The Band Perry, Willie Nelson, Allison Krauss and Union Station, Emmylou Harris and Alabama band.

Buckle Up coordinators also gave local artists an opportunity to showcase their music during the event. Some of the local artists at the 2014 festival included: Kentucky Struts, Straw Boss, Bobby Mackey, The Tillers, Kentucky Timbre, & Buffalo Wabs and the Price Hill Hustle.

We will be there doing photography for the band JetSet GetSet, a local teen band from Indiana, making their way in the country music genre.
